Films

Features are what Bedbugs Films is all about.

Starting with INERTIA in 2001, winner of the BEST FIRST CANADIAN FEATURE award at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival in 2001, following up with LUCID in 2005, which took the CITY TV AWARD at the Vancouver International Film Festival, and to our best-reviewed work to date, ZOOEY & ADAM, which is still making its way through international festivals and Canadian theatrical engagements, Bedbugs Films has always been focused on one thing: quality.

Basing a film on guesswork about how it will do in the marketplace falls a distant second to our primary concern, which is, making good movies.

“INERTIA won the Best Canadian First Film at the Toronto International Film Festival last September… and it’s easy to see why.” “Great acting and a sharp visual sense”   -Exclaim!

“There are scenes in LUCID that transcend the confines of a ‘cool twist story’ and capture a truly haunting, even spiritual surrealism that recalls the master of the form, Luis Buñuel.”   -Steve Palopoli, Metroactive, San Jose

“ZOOEY & ADAM demonstrates how a great story can really juice a film. Four stars!”   -Susan G. Cole, NOW Magazine
